Human, Unfiltered, Real

HUMANSCENE is a film-based photography practice focused on people, place, and presence. I work primarily with analog film as a way to slow the process down, allowing moments to unfold naturally rather than being directed or perfected.

My approach is documentary at its core. I’m drawn to honest expressions, lived-in environments, and the subtle details that give a moment its weight. Whether photographing a portrait, an event, or a landscape, I’m less interested in spectacle and more interested in what feels true.

Film introduces intention into every frame. It asks for attention, patience, and trust; the same qualities I value when working with people. The result is imagery that feels grounded, tactile, and timeless, free from heavy editing or artificial polish.

HUMANSCENE exists to document real life as it exists. The work lives somewhere between stillness and movement, shaped by human presence and the spaces we occupy.
